PA Nepal continues to be a strong advocate for human rights, maintaining their conviction that the rights of every individual should be upheld and protected, regardless of their social status and personal history. PA Nepal acts on the principle that all humans are equal and should be treated with respect.

Indira has been advocating on behalf of prisoners in Nepal for many years, both here in Nepal and abroad. The rights of the imprisoned and their need for rehabilitation has proven to be a globally controversial subject with many countries, including Nepal, continuing to function within a punitive justice system.

PA Nepal continues to advocate that not only can rehabilitation benefit the individuals recieving the service, but also their dependents and the wider community. The rates of imprisonment and criminal activity will decrease, and those previously incarcerated will have the opportunity to give back to the community through active engagement.
