Meet Asish Shah, a remarkable young man who has defied the odds and emerged as a shining example of resilience, determination, and success. At just 21 years old, Asish’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of love, support, and unwavering dedication to one’s dreams.

Asish’s story began when he was only 8 years old, living in the shadow of Siraha Golbazar Jail. He and his younger sister, Nishu Shah, aged 6 at the time, faced a harsh reality – their father was serving a lifetime jail sentence for the murder of their mother. It was a bleak and uncertain future that awaited them.

However, fate had a different plan for Asish and Nishu. They were rescued from the depths of despair and brought into the loving care of Prisoner Assistance Nepal (PA Nepal). Under the compassionate guidance of the organization, Asish began to blossom into a responsible, goal-oriented, and hardworking young boy. Throughout his stay at PA Nepal, Asish consistently displayed sincerity and a deep commitment to his studies. He treated younger children with kindness and respect while showing deference to his elders. His educational journey was marked by excellence, starting with his completion of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at Oxford Secondary School, where he earned outstanding grades. Asish continued to excel academically, achieving an A+ and securing the coveted First Division during his Grade 12 studies at Ashirwad College. His academic achievements were a testament to his relentless pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement.

Upon completing high school, Asish set his sights on furthering his education. He enrolled at Public Youth Campus to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business studies, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to personal growth and development.

But Asish’s journey was not limited to academics alone. He dared to dream bigger and sought to contribute to his community by serving in the Nepal Police force. As a testament to his determination, he successfully passed the nationwide entrance exam for the position of Assistant Sub-inspector in the Nepal Police – a significant accomplishment.

At present, Asish holds the esteemed position of Assistant Sub-inspector in the Nepal Police, marking yet another remarkable chapter in his extraordinary life story.

Meet Jenifer, a remarkable 17-year-old who has turned her life around through resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of love, support, and the pursuit of one’s dreams.

Jenifer’s journey began when she was just two months old, abandoned by her mother and left in the care of Prisoner Assistance Nepal (PA Nepal. Growing up in PA Nepal, Jenifer was nurtured and encouraged to pursue her passions and dreams. She spent her formative years at Mother Earth Home in Fikkal and attended Karfok School in the Ilam district, where she excelled academically and became active in various extracurricular activities. Her love for football blossomed during her early years, and she showed incredible promise on the field.

Jenifer’s success in football was the result of her hard work, passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and she earned a spot as an under 16 female football national player representing Province 1. Her journey was marked by numerous hours of training and an unyielding desire to excel.

Later, Jenifer moved to Firefly Children Home, PA Nepal Kathmandu, to further her education. She continued to excel academically, earning an impressive Grade A in her Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at Gandaki Secondary School. Simultaneously, she seized opportunities to participate in various football training programs.

Jenifer’s consistent effort and training paid off when she was selected to join the Under-18 Women’s Football National Team, representing her country in the U-18 football tournament in Dehradun, India. Her dedication and performance earned her a place on the U-20 Women’s Football National Team, allowing her to participate in the U-20 Football Tournament in Palestine. The moment of pride came when Jenifer scored a goal for her nation—a testament to her unwavering commitment and skill.

Currently, Jenifer is pursuing her education in Grade 12, majoring in the Management Stream at Samriddhi Higher Secondary School. Her future is bright, and her dreams continue to evolve. She serves as an inspiration to all, reminding us that with determination, passion, and the support of caring individuals and organizations like PA Nepal, one can overcome adversity and achieve greatness.
